And the Michael Jackson saga continues. It seems Michael Jackson’s doctor, Conrad Murray, is now claiming that MJ gave himself the lethal injection of Propofol thus killing himself. Are you kidding? It seems Dr. Conrad is just pulling at strings here.
Dr. Murray claims that around 10:50 am on the day that Michael died, he gave Michael 25 mg of Propofol from a 20 ml bottle. Dr Murray admits to giving him that dose. He states that would only put someone to sleep for about 10 minutes. Michael already had Ativan and Versed in his system so that made him sleep longer.
For an hour after administering the Propofol, Dr. Murray stayed in the room with Michael. He claims he was on the phone for most that hour. He didn’t leave the room because MJ liked noise and light when he slept.
Around noon, Dr. Murray claims he left the room to go to the bathroom and that is when the defense will claim suicide. They believe that Michael woke up and was frustrated that he couldn’t sleep. He then injected the remaining Propofol into his IV causing his heart to stop.
When Dr. Murray returned to the room, he noticed Michael’s eyes were open and his pupils dilated. He began to administer CPR.
The defense will argue that Michael was a Propofol addict. Sources claim that Michael liked doing his own injections of Propofol.
Law enforcement believe Conrad hid bottles of Propofol but the defense will claim there was an empty bottle under the night stand and if Dr. Murray hid the bottle, he would have taken that one as well.
Here are my questions: Why didn’t Dr. Murray come forward with this news before now? Also Dr. Murray claims he was only out of the room for about 2 minutes. Someone cannot wake up, find the Propofol and give himself an injection in that period of time. And did Michael all of a sudden wake up when Dr. Murray was out of the room? I think not. I should have been a lawyer.
