“When life becomes a foreign language, most of the words are mispronounced”. This becomes a fact in the life of two middle aged men who are always together while their minds are poles apart. Then they had “a life divided into the horrible and the miserable”. One of them, the most unlucky-in-love divorcee (Robin Williams) had experienced all the bitter taste of life while his friend, the fun-loving bachelor (John Travolta) was enjoying the “mad” world. Leading a life together with such two strange destinies (destined by them) was not that difficult, for they knew each other very well. While they were having such a great time together, an unexpected reward was given them. They were charged with the care of six-year old twins (newcomers Ella Bleu Travolta and Conner Rayburn) while they were on the verge of the biggest deal of their lives. As both friends were not kid-savvy, it was a real challenge for them to take for the children. Leading one debacle after another, the friends were slowly experiencing the life that they forgot to live. The little kids could really show them what’s important and what they are missing in their real life.
Then and there they start living. They start feeling the “topsy-turvy” world as the finest place to live. They find that it is not the world but the bat which is hanging upside down and blames the whole world; a journey through different experiences and experiments that we people face in the life. When it becomes a real happening in many of ours life, the movie focuses on the other side of life that we often forget to live; an insight, a third eye to awake all who lose an incredible part of their life. Go and get back those old motives that you forgot somewhere half way in your life. Yes, life is all about experimenting and experiencing!
