‘The House of the Devil’ is a forthcoming horror flick that revolves around a college student Samantha, and her encounter with a terrifying nightmare, she never thought of experiencing at creepy mansion. Samantha, as called as Sam in the movie, is desperately seeking a job to fund the earnings to buying an apartment. She decides to acquire a baby sitting job. Ironically there is no baby with her client. However, the strange job happens to coincide with the unlucky lunar eclipse. Her client, The Ulmans own a spooky, scary mansion whom the ride Sam to.

The Victorian palace is built deep down the woods, which anyone would prefer not to go through. This situation turns into a nightmare for Samantha because unfortunately a total lunar eclipse is set to strike just then. Sam’s close friend Megan, drives Sam to the creepy massive house, dropping her reluctantly, unaware and caring about what awaits Sam. Ignorant about the situation, Megan leaves after dropping Sam. The plot thickens when Victor, who seems to be just a normal guy loitering in the house, nurtures a deadly secret that targets Sam’s life. Sam’s clients have made an evil plan against her, to use her as fuel to a dangerous ritual, which demands her life.

Samantha Hughes is played by Jocelin Donahue, the evil Victor is played by AJ Bowen, Samantha’s friend Megan is played by Greta Gerwig, and lastly, Samantha’s clients, The Ulmans; is enacted by Mary Woronov and Tom Noonan.

‘The House of the Devil’ is a thriller flick that showcases violence and horror scenes, which almost stops your heart beat.
