In this movie a totally new voice has been introduced. ...

In this movie a totally new voice has been introduced. This is an American Indie film and the new voice is very much impressive too. This is a story about the dark side of the youth in the middle age. Antonio Campos has arrived with this new movie in an impressive way. ‘Afterschool’ has been on the official selection list of Canes, Berlin, New York film festival and also SXSW in the year 2008. This is an exceptional feature first appearance.

This movie has also been nominated for 2 categories of awards in the Gotham. The categories of the nominations in the Gotham include the Best Director category also. ‘Afterschool’ has also been nominated for The Independent Spirit Award for being the Best Feature film. ‘After School’ is a story about a young American student called Robert. Robert is a student of one of the most prestigious schools in the region, the East Cost preparatory school. Robert accidently captures an incident of horrific death of two girls in his camera. Robert was unaware of all this but the shoot happened all by an accident. Robert has been asked to memorize the lives of those 2 young girls in a film which is meant to speed up the process of healing up. However, Robert is caught in an unusual situation where he is trying to heel up and he is caught in deep trauma while doing this exercise. Thus the situation of Robert was very unfamiliar and he has to struggle in order to overcome this strange situation of trauma.

The Movie is a good piece of work from the director and the director has been able to catch upon the minute details of almost all the situations in this movie. This movie is a onetime watch for all as all the actors have put in their best effort to do justice to their characters.
