‘The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassuss’ is a fantasy film written and directed by Terry Gilliam in association with Charles McKeown. ‘The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassuss’ revolves around Dr. Parnassuss and his traveling amusement show, ‘The Imaginarium’. An extraordinary show wherein selective audience is chosen at random who get an incredible opportunity to make an intellectual choice between happiness and light or sorrow and darkness. Dr. Parnassuss is blessed with a powerful boon which enables him to guide and trace the imagination that runs in minds of others. The story opens with Dr. Parnassuss making a bet with the devil cult Mr. Nick, which wins him immortality. Centuries after this event, Dr. Parnassuss repeats his betting deal, after meeting his love. However, this time he makes a crucial promise to the devil, and decides to trade his life-long immortality for his youth. But this new deal is complemented with an additional condition, that whenever Dr. Parnassuss’s first- born child will reach the age of 16, Mr. Nick is fully liable to take his or her custody immediately after the child’s16th birthday.

Dr. Parnassuss’s daughter, Valentina is approaching her ‘age’ at a rather fast pace. Realizing that her ruthless fate is going to part them, he is set on a captivating journey to protect & save her from Mr. Nick. But when Mr. Nick arrives to take her custody, he settles the matter by negotiating one more time. Valentina will be won by the person who manages to seduce first few souls. Dr. Parnassuss encounters an array of different comical and wild characters, promising Valentina’s marraige only to the man who will help him to win this battle of fate.
