Have you Noticed Country and Rock are mixing together?
Everyday I hear a new song and cant make up my mind if it is rock or country. Like Sugarland teaming up with Bon Jovi? Or Taylor Swift with the group she joined up with. everything is mixing together anymore. They don't sound bad but its hard to put what genre they are in on an ipod or itunes that I can guarantee. I love music of all types however sometimes I think its best to leave country as country and rock and rock. Maybe I am wrong but it just sounds better to me.

Yes, and I like it. I think that its great that they get the mix in there. I was very surprised at this year's Grammy's that they had so much country content. Its long over due.

It is getting harder to distinguish. I think eventually it will all be the same. When the older singers, the "true" country singers, are done that'll be the end. There are not too many of the younger generation that enjoy the "twang" of country music. It has caused a lot of problems in the country music industry. There are many singers that don't agree with the new style and think that it should not be recognized at award shows as country.

I disagree I think that there will always be the old style country singers out there, I guess maybe they will be pushed out by the newer style but true country fans won't do with out their nees for twang!
