I am very surprised to hear this. Ricky Martin is gay. Is anyone else surprised?

I'm not surprised. These stories have been around since 2000, but he used to deny them. Guess he finally decided to come clean.

I don't think this will have any effect on his sales. Another good singer that is gay was the lead singer of Savage Garden, Darren Hayes. His album sales remained steady.

I am pretty sure, that MOST people already felt that he likely was. I don't think it will have any bearing on his sales or popularity.

I am actually a little surprised. Not that there is anything wrong with it, I just didn't expect it from him. I never followed him that much though, not my type of music. I used to watch him on General Hospital though.
