Corey Haim Dies At 38

I can't believe Corey Haim is dead. That just messed up everything. I loved watching him in the movie the Lost Boys. He had talent, and a good personality. I read where they said it was a drug overdose but you watch they will rule it a suicide. I am still trying to soak it in. I mean good grief the guy was only 38 years old. He had his entire life ahead of him.
In my mind he is one of those actors that are gone but won't ever be forgotten.
In reality it makes me kind of sad, because i know later on down the road he would've been in more movies and in a way he was one of my idols, I was about his age when he did the movie Lost Boys, I guess that is part of the reason his death is hitting me so hard. Does anyone else think he died way too young? Or is it just my opinion?

It is a sad waste of talent, he has been on a down hill spiral for years. The show the Two Coreys showed it all unfold live until they took it off the air, him and Feldman ruled Hollywood in the early 80's one of my favorite actors and Canadian at that. He wasn't the best actor in the world no where near it but I really enjoyed his movies, he will be missed. I would agree with you in that it will be found to be suicide.

Yeah, it is too young. They are waiting for autopsy report to find out the cause of death. I read he was druggie so drugs could be one cause. May his soul rest in peace.

Police found from investigation that Corey Haim had obtained a fraudulent prescription through a drug ring. The prescription was for a powerful painkiller called OxyContin.

Most drug abusers turn to those type prescriptions when they are trying to avoid the strong street drugs. Its a shame that he couldn't get the help he needed

I don't get how the drug problems start in the first place. I also don't get why these drug issues affect famous people so much. It's like they want to experiment and spend their money on pathetic things like drugs.

I read a headline that "Toronto is not paying for Haim's funeral." I still understand why Toronto needs to pay for his funeral. I thought this was a family matter.

Sad story, I hear that they have charged a Dr. that has been involved with selling drus to movie stars etc.

Well Haim Dies has given lots of to the industry and atlast his journey of life came to an end. Lets pray for the peace of his soul.
