The Stepfather

The Stepfather MovieThe film “The Stepfather” is said to project the nuances and the subtle elements that is twirled in the web of intricacies that exists in the relationship between an old son and a new husband. This is expressed in terms of the lady who married again. Not every son in this world would feel his original father in his newly acquired So-called father relationship. This is because of the fact that the original father is the only person who can fill up the shoes and fill the void that he created in your life and family. Having this constructive actuality as the theme the unit of the film Step Father has done laudable works.

Penn Badgley dons the character of Michael Harding, who spends the initial stages of his life with the services and the armed forces loves to return back to his home for sometime to enjoy the warmth that he can derive from care and nourishment of his mother (Sela Ward). But after hitting his homeland he comes to know that his mother is enjoying the company of a new individual David (Dylan Walsh), who seems to be her newfound lover. These two persons have not even got familiar with each other and perceptibly the story revolves around the plethora of disturbances and differences in opinion, that these two gentlemen have running in their mind. Having known David to a considerable extent by now, Michael begins to wear his thinking cap on and starts doubting his new step father foe every action that he does. He could not stop thinking that whether he is the ideal man that her mother wanted to make a living with or is he just a man whose darker sides are not yet uncovered by both him and his mother. It gets interesting now. Isn’t it?
