When comedy meets real life, a masterpiece is born. The creators of “The Little Mermaid” and “Aladdin” come up with a classic tale, an animated comedy. This is the story of a beautiful girl named Tiana (Anika Noni Rose), a frog prince who desperately wants to be human again. A prince named Naveen from the land of Maldonia was transformed into a frog by the evil-scheming voodoo magician Dr. Facilier. The frog prince mistakes the girl for a princess and has her kiss him to break the spell. All miracles happen with a fateful kiss. The real story starts here, a hilarious adventure through the mystical bayous of Louisiana. The story is all about the things that happen afterward. Unpredictability accompanies the viewer through out he journey. When life gets another definition, it takes a different direction, a deviation from where it was to where it ought to be.
Though the kiss doesn’t break the spell, but instead turns Tiana into a frog as well. Together, the two of them must reach the good voodoo priestess of the Bayou, Mama Odie, while befriending a trumpet-playing alligator and a hopelessly romantic firefly along the way. Anyone having a passion for love, a minimum sense of humor and the ability to enjoy the adventures in the road ahead will enjoy this movie each moment.
The 49th animated film by Walt Disney Animation studio is to hit the market with a whole lot of newest trends in 2D animation industry, Broadway-style musical set in the French Quarters of New Orleans. “The Princess and the Frog” marks the return to hand-drawn animation by the revered team of John Musker and Ron Clements, with music by Oscar®-winning composer Randy Newman (“Monsters, Inc.,” “Cars,” “Toy Story”). Hold your breath till the movie is released. It would be more thrilling, the waiting for the movie.
