The Exploding Girl



The movie about the Exploding Girl from what we could gather was that she had seizures. The release date for this movie is March 2010. It is a drama romance although the rating isn’t available as of yet. It is about a twenty year old college student who goes home for spring break . She’s excited about getting back to develop a romance with a boy she knew before she left for college. Even though he is considered her boyfriend they keep missing each other. And to make matters worse she has a longtime friend named Al that has had a crush on her for a long time.

But he knows not to cross the line because the feelings aren’t mutual. Instead he turns his heart into another direction and to make matters worse something happens in his fanily to the point that Al has to literally stay with her. Her mother doesn’t mind and there’s plenty of room. Al knows about Zoe’s epilepsy and why she has seizures occasionally. But he cant help but wonder if her boyfriend knows. Something else to force out of his head. Things with her boyfriend grows more and more distant and she doesn’t know if he is just busy or avoiding her.

While she struggles to keep control of her emotions and trigger a seizure she tries to show restraint and meditative. The Exploding Girl movie is a wonderful portrait of a young woman coming of age and trying to find her place in this world. She wants to live a normal life although that just can’t be, but either way she still has Al in her corner.
