Tales From The Script

In the Tales From The Script movie you essentially have an all star cast. The movie isn’t set to be released until March 2010. It is basically a documentary of what its like to be a screenwriter. It is very comical and has penetrating insights and hilarious anecdotes in the most comprehensive documentary ever made about screenwriting. By analyzing their triumphs and recalling their failures, the participants explain how successful writers develop the skills necessary for toughing out careers in one of the worlds most competitive industries.

Although it would be great not all scripts get read, or there are scripts that do get read and they are rejected. Screenwriters do not like the word rejected at all. It also reveals the truth of what they go through just to have a script read. And yet, it also reveals the benefits behind some of the best screenplays written too.

In addition, the scripts that are read often get turned into movies for individuals to see at theaters while the others that are rejected usually get sent back for editing or thrown in the trash, and the screenwriter will start over again. With many failures however, comes a lot of success stories too. That’s why this documentary is so important people who watch it will see just what screenwriters do and what they go through to get a task accomplished.
