This movie Stolen is a drama oriented thriller. With a kidnapping past and present from the crux of the story in Stolen. It is somewhat dull when it comes to the real plot. It is an original idea in the hopes that the marriage will somehow seem original. At first it does but soon the lack of imagination makes things feel awfully redundant in matter how many twists are in store While theatrical looks iffy, Stolen movie should easily hide its stash in ancillary.
However still obsessed with the disappearance of his son eight years ago when another child’s body is excavated from a construction site. It contains clues to the case, even if said corpse dates from the 50’s. Bring on the flashbacks, which tell a parallel story about a struggling single dad watching over his handicapped child, but obviously not well enough. Its bad enough for a mother to struggle through a divorce and starting over but she has no idea how dangerous her life has just become. Although the investigator on the case does.
Upon arrival at the school, she meets a friendly and soft spoken young man named Muyu, who doesn’t attend the school but drives a delivery van in the area. He helps her move in and she is starved for affection. Will another child disappear? She falls for him in an instant, soon they are an item but she never expects what could happen to her child. Being attached to the delivery driver she isn’t sure if she is in love or if it is just something else, but her child feels very uncomfortable around her new suitor although she doesn’t know why, she thinks maybe its due to the fact that the dad isn’t in the picture.
