Priest is directed by Scott Stewart and is set to release in the next year summers. The date set for the release is August 13, 2010. Before Priest, director Scott Stewart has directed many hit movies. It is an Adventurous and a horror flick that can hold your breath for several minutes and won’t allow you to leave your seats even for a minute. Priest has a long star cast. It stars Paul Bettany, Maggie Q, Cam Gigandet, Stephen Moyer, Karl Urban, Lily Collins, Madchen Amick, Christopher Plummer, and Brad Dourif.
The movie has been inspired from a Tokyo Pop comic book and revolves around its central character, the priest, who turns warrior and fights against the church. The movie highlights the centuries old war that has been going between the man and vampire. The initial half of the story is about the war between the man and vampire and has been depicted beautifully after a long research. The latter half of the movie focuses on a priest and his transformation from a religious person to a warrior. It describes how the religious priest transforms into a warrior to save his niece from the vampires. The story takes a major turn when the niece of priest is kidnapped by vampires. The whole series of events in which the movie tracks the murderous band of vampires is very interesting and also the best part of movie. The screen writer Cory Goodman has done a wonderful job and the director has been able to take emotions out from all the major characters.
