The setting is Lake Victoria in East Africa. This beautiful place that gives life to thousands of souls turns out to be a devouring monster when the fish begin to eat men. The man eating fish are part of pre-historic man-eating fish that are brought to the surface of the earth by an underwater tremor. These fish have sharp tooth and crave for human blood. It is the first time that residents have ever heard of man-eating fish. They have been eating fish as long as their ancestry can be remembered. That fish would eat man is a horror that they do not easily believe.
It is a competition for the smartest between fish and men. A race between who will outwit the other. If the fish get men first, they will devour them all. But men are no longer as courageous. No one wants to eat fish anymore.
Elisabeth Shue is the only standing savior of the Lake Victoria and the people around it. She must do everything to save herself and the community. When left alone with more than ten man-eating fish, she realizes that she has to fight back to win; A win that is the only hope for humanity and other creatures around and in Lake Victoria.
