Ondine

The Ondine is a movie that will be released in June of 2010. It is rated PG-13 and is being released by Magnolia Pictures. It stars Colin Farrell and it is a drama fantasy. This is a movie that will keep you on the edge of your seat and captivated to say the least.

It is based in Syracuse, where a plain fisherman accidentally catches a mysterious and gorgeous woman in his nets. Although this woman looks as though she is dead, she comes alive right before the fisherman’s eyes and he believes he is seeing things. And yet, with the aid of his hurting and irresponsible daughter Annie, he comes to believe that this woman might be fantastical and possibly Ondine, a myth that had suddenly come to pass.

Ondine and Syracuse fall I love, and the passion they have for one another only intensifies. And though you think this mythical fairytale could last forever, the real world comes into the picture and threatens the love. After a terrible crash and the onset of darkness and awful figure from Ondine’s past, hope eventually takes a turn and a new start is presented to Syracuse, Ondine and Annie.

The Ondine movie is a fantasy just as there are mermaids, however this is just as good, and the mythical creature or woman that was caught in the nets looked just like another human so people couldn’t really tell who or where she came from. This will be a good movie to watch and see. The daughter is not sure at first but she does come around to care for Ondine and they become friends.
