The action/drama flick is said to revolve around the lives of a team of cops who are committed to the task of fighting crime and establishing law and order. The major characters of the film who have lived the cop life with perfection are Sal (Ethan Hawke), Eddie Dungan (Richard Gere), Tango (Don Cheadle), Caz (Wesley Snipez) and Jesse Williams (Eddie Quinlan). The plot is knit around the group of cops having their base in the center of Brooklyn, whose lives are portrayed in the melodramatic way.

The histrionics of the actors involved is simply exemplary and everybody has supported their character as per the requirements of the plot. The elements that are integrated in this film give you a feel that you have just finished watching another perfect cop movie. In the first space the cast simply takes you over and what will be tempting is to wait and watch the manner in which this well knit unit has jelled together in a short span to reproduce the magic of the “Training Day”. The screenplay is balanced by meticulous composition of right mix of action and crime as it is clearly indicated that the makers wanted this movie to be the pulse of the audience at least for some time.
