Would you trust the detective with your life? In the upcoming November 2009 new release, a high adrenaline movie of the crime and drama genre unfolds. It goes by the title ‘Bad Lieutenant: Port of Call New Orleans’. This is one of the latest from movie director Werner Herzog.
In the action packed movie, the city of New Orleans has not seen such as devilish messiah. The star character, played by Nicole Cage, is perfectly suited to rid the city of criminals who he is very familiar with. However, wearing double hats is a specialty of this policeman. In one hat he is the ultimate detective, religiously attached to his work, a very reliable man in deed. He stands out in the line of duty, and is feared by criminal gangs evading the law. In the other, Nicole plays the ruffian of the year, heartless and sickening. He an unrelenting law breaker who cares less the trail of deaths left behind.
To get away with the double personality, this rogue detective plays checkmate with either his badge or he gun, whichever one is appropriate for the occasion. This style of work is a double edged sword that allows the detective to manipulate the criminals to his advantage. When he wants to squeeze them out, he uses the badge, but when they refuse to budge, he puts the gun’s butt on their head.
Hurricane Katrina unveils the true colors of the detective. The spiraling actions of this devil messiah are observed in well calculated, shrewd intuitive and bold control of the criminal under-world of New Orleans. No one can stop the detective, and the entry of a gorgeous prostitute sets the scene to a cascade of passionate romance and crime. The prostitute played by Eva Mendes complements the macho image of the detective by offering her body in an orgy that fulfills desire without restrain.
This is the epitome of film making, drawing both love and hate emotions, you cannot miss this!
