The story is set in 22nd Century, in the land of Navi tribal on a little moon known as Pandora. Navi are tall blue humanoid creatures, and they are very calm and peaceful unless they are threatened. Since human found out about Pandora, they decide to send genetically modified hybrids there (called Avatars) which are artificially controlled by a small metal link. The story begins to unfold when one Avatar falls in love with princess from a Navi tribe.
