Reel Review: The movie the Tooth Fairy was a success at theaters, although not many people could picture Dwayne Johnson in a tutu. But hey I guess it could happen. Out of ten on the scale it became a three, which isn’t too bad considering it was a family comedy.
What’s Inside: Dwayne Johnson is the tooth fairy and a regular guy named Derek, Derek being known as a hard charging minor league hockey sports in which a nickname comes out of an incident where his buddy was. When Derek found out that he had discouraged the young boys hopes, he made him into the tooth fairy and said he must do the job as one for at least a week. Derek(Dwayne Johnson) Had no idea or clue what he was supposed to do, however he was bound to try just because he didn’t want to stay in that outfit any longer than he had too, and besides being a tooth fairy can’t be that difficult can it?
Children everyone however are losing their teeth and the tooth fairy feels as though he has gotten in over his head, because of one stupid thing he said that discouraged a boy. All Derek can do is struggle along with the efforts of doing what a tooth fairy does and that’s surprise children when they lose their teeth. Although, I just can’t picture Johnson with a pair of winds either. Go figure right? Anyway it went over good at theaters and if you haven’t seen it go you wont’ regret it.
Wrapping it up: In the long term of things the tooth fairy learns his lesson and just wants to be normal again because he is starting to remember things from his own childhood that he doesn’t like. The ending of the movie the Tooth Fairy is really good, actually the entire movie is good.
