Viggo Mortensen nominated for academy award, Robert Duvall Academy Award winners and Guy Pearce, Charlize Theron and 12-year-old Kodi Smit McPhee is featured in this film. They are doing the whole thing based on the best selling novel of Cormac McCarthy. The book is also called The Road and the book earned the Pulitzer Prize for its extraordinary potentials. The story is about a father and a son who sets on a journey through a desperate, post-apocalyptic world.
The movie has some great thoughts, and the way it was directed are sure to make this a box office hit. The plot of the movie is extraordinary and has the combination of some super talented stars and people. The directors as well as the actors are talented and there can no better than this for a movie like this. The directors have the best choice though some people were expecting some other people in the father’s role which is being played by Mortensen and the role of the son is being played by Smit-McPhee. The boy is just 12 year old and has been chose for such a challenging character.
It would be awesome if Viggo can work the way he did in the Lord of The Rings trilogy and some other movies. If he can show his potentials then there is no one can stop the movie from becoming this years one of the biggest blockbuster and one of the toughest and eligible contender for OSCAR. John Hillcoat directed this movie and Joe Penhall, Nick Wechsler are the screenwriters. The movie is going to release before Christmas and the declared date is 25 November. The movie is rated R for some disturbing images and vulgar languages. The movie is a combination of thrill, adventure and deep mental war.
