Reel Review: This is a movie that was released February 26th 2010, and it is rated R. It is a drama horror movie and there are a lot of graphic scenes in it. On the review rating system it received a seven out of ten and was deemed as doing very well in theaters and box offices.
What’s Inside: Imagine living in a small town where everything is safe and happy, until suddenly it isn’t safe anymore. Your neighbors and your friends are all going insane really quickly, it is a terrible dream gone wrong. A picture perfect town at one point in time then, turns into a horrific nightmare within a few hours. People are going crazy, one man brings a loaded shot gun to a baseball game, another man burns down his own house, and that’s after locking his wife and young son in a closet inside the house. Normal people who a few days ago seems ordinary and respectable have suddenly become blood thirsty killers both violent and out of the ordinary to say the least. Everyone has gone crazy and no one really knows why although the local sheriff has a bit of an idea that includes some type of toxin within the town.
Wrapping It Up: there is something infecting the people of this small town and they are going insane with killing sprees and violence. While the local sheriff tries to make sense of it all this unknown toxin has turned this town into a blood bath for many. The government steps in and isolates the town which only makes matters worse. This forces the local sheriff and a handful of people including his pregnant wife to band together in order to survive and get out of the town alive.
