What’s Inside: Jacqueline Kennedy sued him, Marlon Brando broke his jaw and Steve McQueen gave him a look that would have killed, if looks could kill that is. To the celebrities he pursued, photographer Ron Galella was the beast that literally threatened beauty. However, amazingly he created a strange and lasting beauty. In the story of this notorious paparazzo are the complex issues of the right to privacy, freedom of the press and the essential vortex of celebrity worship. This guy would sneak around and invade the camera world by the shot till you drop .
Wrapping it up: He was an artistry of the sniper. Yet galella found something essential in his real life subjects, and gave it performance. There is a movie trailer for this documentary and it will show scenes of different portions of the film and yet, it doesn’t show the ending of the Smash His Camera documentary.
