Reel Review: The movie Shutter Island is a thriller and rated R. It stars Leonardo Decaprio and Mark Ruffalo. It is one of those movies that keep you captivated and on the edge of your seat.
What’s Inside: The two stars team up amazingly as US marshals who travel to a secluded island off the coast of Massachusetts to search for an escaped mental patient however they uncover a lot of deceit and deception along their journey. They battle the elements of nature and even a prison riot in this movie. It is a true brain teaser in the concept that you don’t really know what is going to happen next. This makes it hard for some individuals to comprehend what the movie is about however it is an excellent movie. Shutter Island the movie also has great graphics and special effects, designed for that thriller input that many people just don’t see. Both actors do an excellent job in Shutter Island and it has a phenomenal ending. Not that we will tell you just in case you haven’t seen it yet. If you haven’t you should go.
Wrapping it Up: Amazingly this movie was first seen in Berlin, there was some controversy over the movie and yet, it isn’t all that bad as long as you are into thriller type movies. It isn’t really categorized as a horror movie because there are only a few bad parts. Do the marshals catch the escapee? Hard to know without going to see the movie.
