Night of the Demons Review

Night of the Demons ReviewThe movie night of the demons very cleverly organized the ad campaign to arouse the interest of the viewers. The ad reads that Angela is having a party and her friends Jason and Freddy are scared. The entire plot revolves around a Halloween party that is organized at a possessed funeral home. Well as per the advertising campaign, Jason and Freddy were the ones, supposedly scared, proved to be only partly true. Or it could be blamed to their bad acting skills that they were not able to give those scared expressions.

These high schools kids as according to the movie plan they are supposed to be, do not look to have had the glimpse of any high school since at least a couple of years. Or even if they had, they were certainly not the ones who were active participants of the drama club. Rather they probably were the high ranking graduates of an acting school that gives a degree to the worse actors. To add to the bad acting skills, the costumes and the make up also further add to the disgust of the movie.

The demons are seen to wear a rubber mask that clearly displayed the low budget of the movie which should have been otherwise concealed. The character Angela pulls her dresses over her head while dancing and the other friend of hers Suzanne seems to be someone who had accidentally landed into this movie from the sets of a porno movie and still in the same mood. The abnormally long and boring 89 minutes, become unbearably long. It can be certainly called stupid and sexist. Moreover the humor of the film maker can be appreciated for launching the film based on Halloween at the time of thanks giving. The director, Kevin Tenney was certainly not in best of his mood and at the top his direction skills while working on this movie.
