Lebanon Review



Reel Review: The Lebanon movie was released in August of 2010. It was released by Sony Pictures Classics. It is a drama type movie and it is rated R for disturbing war violence. The director is hoping it goes over well in theaters and box offices.

What’s Inside: Lebanon movie is based on June 1982, the first war in Lebanon. a lone tank and a platoon are dispatched to search a hostile town in a hostile environment. What is supposed to be a simple mission turns deadly and into a nightmare for the platoon very quickly.

Wrapping It Up: Motivated by fear and the thought of dying the platoon is under the basic instinct of survival, they desperately try not to lose themselves in the chaos of war. They are bound by honor and scared to death however they do the mission and complete the task at hand.
