Reel Review: On April 15th of 2010 a much waited movie is going to be released. The movie Kick Ass is being released by Lions gate Studios. The director of course hopes it goes good at the theaters. It stars Nicolas Cage, among other cast members. It is an action adventure and it is rated R.
What’s Inside: In the Movie Kick Ass the question is asked how it is that just anyone hasn’t tried to be a superhero. So, just an ordinary teenager out of New York, decides one day that he is going to be a superhero. He is a comic book freak and loves to read his comic books; in fact that’s where he got the idea. He purchases a green and yellow wet suit over the Internet and then becomes the prime vigilante out to good. Anxious and not through completely he sets out for his first act of being a superhero, only to find out that it hurts. After all he is only human. However, he soon earns the respect of people he has actually helped and becomes very popular. Another problem he endures is the fact that he has no super powers whatsoever. Just him and his superhero suit.
Wrapping It Up: This superhero goes throughout the city looking for those who are in distress although to his surprise and amazement he is not alone. He comes up against arch enemies that take advantage of normal ordinary people and he doesn’t like that fact. So, he attempts to take them on by himself and fails. Little does he know that there is a father and daughter on his side. A fearless duo the girl known as Hit Girl and her father known as Big Daddy. Both vigilantes doing the same exact thing he is attempting to do, as they join forces the odds change. And now its time to Kick-Ass!
