Holy Rollers Review



Reel Review: This movie was released in May of 2010. It was released by First Independent Pictures. It is a comedy and drama. It is also rated R. The director was hoping that it went over well in theaters and it is doing pretty good. The cast members did well in this movie.

What’s Inside: The Holy Rollers movie was actually inspired by events that really happened and also some other events. In the late nineties when jews were recruited as mules to smuggle ecstasy from Europe into the United States. So this movie is in essence somewhat based on a true story. If the smuggling isn’t enough they wait around for marriages that have been arranged for them already. Or for the Israeli dealerm and his girlfriend to show up. Now exposed to the exciting and dangerous world of Manhattan a guy named Sam loves the nightlife and begins to fall in a spiral of events towards bad things.the ecstasy, the lifestyle he seems to want it all. He especially enjoys going to the many different parties during the late night hours.

Wrapping It Up: As the business grows Sam comes to realize that money and the nightlife of this illegal game he seems to be playing isn’t all it is set up to be. Caught between being a smuggler and the road that leads him back to God, Sam finds himself on the run. He is forced to make a decision that could bring the entire future crashing down.
