Great Directors Review

Reel review: The Great Directors documentary was released in July of 2010. It was released by Paladin. It is starring Bernardo Bertoulucci and an awesome cast of members. This documentary celebrates the films’ and filmmaking for ten of the world’s most acclaimed and living directors. The director for this documentary is hoping that is does well in theaters.

What’s Inside: This is a deeply personal look at the art of cinema and the artists who create it, and features original, indepth conversations with world class filmmakers from different areas of the world. It had its world premiere at the 2009 Venice Film Festival.

Wrapping It Up: it goes into great detail about the ten directors and the style of creating that each one has. It uses clips and historical archives from the subject’s works and also reveal the distinctive personalities who created the timeless images that have long inspired others. Their feelings about the other great directors and those who inspired them.
