From Mexico with Love ReviewThis movie is due to be released on the 9th of October 2009. The star cast includes the names like Steven Bauer, Kuno Becker, Steve Bilich and the direction is by Jimmy Nickerson. This movie has action and drama as well and that entails the life of a migrant who wants to become a boxer, just like his father was.

Hector Villa is man who is quite tough physically but inside him is a soft and emotional man who is self destructive as well. He is among those several migrant workers who illegally shift to the U.S and then strive to make a living and start a new life there. But this man, does not want to submit himself to the tough and trying conditions, and wants to raise himself to the limits he himself has decided. He is ready to work till any limits to rise up from the level of picking up fruits in the dirt. He dreams of becoming a boxer, just like his father was before him. But he realizes that it will be more difficult than imagination and he has to face and cope up with the grim realities of living on a Texas Ranch. During the day time he works in the scorching sun for long hours and later in the night he trades the gloves that he uses at work for the boxing gloves, and practices boxing in the bars surrounding after paying a five dollar entrance fee.

Here the winner of a few rounds in the makeshift ring can earn more than the pay of an entire day in those fields under the scorching heat. His mom falls ill and his son starts to rake up fights to earn to pay for the expensive heart medications. But there has to be a strong opposition to make his fights difficult. He is the Big Al’s son, Robert, who is the undefeated champ. Soon Hector rises to popularity and then when the Big Al realizes that this guy could dethrone his son, he gets him thrashed and beaten and then thrown in some desert in Mexico. He later takes help from Billy Jenkins hoping that he will help him retort.
