Fantastic Mr. Fox Review

Fantastic Mr. Fox Review MoviePersonal opinion is not so good if you are writing a movie review but I just can’t help it. “Fantastic Mr. Fox” is one of the movies I am most excited to see till the end of this year, and I have plenty of reasons for that anticipation.

First one – it is an animated feature directed and co-wrote by Wes Anderson, Texas born master of weird black humor and edgy comedies. He actually did an adaptation of Roald Dahl story which only adds to the level of anticipation I have.

Moving on. Wes Anderson directed some of the most interesting and refreshing movies in last few years. He is the guy behind the “Royal Tenenbaums”, “The Life Aquatic” and ultra funny “Darjeeling Limited”.
Hollywood stars adore him and wait in line to work with him, because he always delivers something new and exciting. That is why director of “Fantastic Mr. Fox” has a very long list of Hollywood, A-list fans. Let’s mention just few: Gene Hackman, Ben Stiller, Gwyneth Paltrow, Luke and Owen Wilson, Anjelica Houston, Adrien Brody, Bill Murray etc.

His talent and undenyiable influence in Hollywood have gathered the most amazing cast (or voice over crew) in the history of animated features. No other animated movie had so many big super stars involved, for sure.
Here are the names and voices you will hear when you decide to see “Fantastic Mr. Fox”: George Clooney (as Mr. Fox), Meryl Streep (as his wife), Willem Dafoe, Bill Murray, Owen Wilson, Jason Schwartzman, Adrien Brody, Wes Anderson himself, Brian Cox, Anjelica Houston…seems like everyone successful in Hollywood is there.

Please also pay attention to one more, very important thing – the visual identity of the campaign. Every flyer, every poster everything is perfectly designed. Kudos to the production designer too- well done!

Now we just have to wait and see how it all came up. I hope we’ll love it!
