What’s Inside: In the movie the Edge of Darkness this thriller is made to keep the audience captivated. You could say it is set at the intersection of politics and business and those odds are never good. A veteran homicide detective for the Boston police department and a single father. When his only child of twenty four years is murdered on the steps of his home. Everyone assumes that he was the target. But in essence his investigation leads him to a life of trouble his daughter was living. And this is what led to her killing. His investigation leads him into a dangerous looking glass world of corporate cover-ups. Even government has collusion and murder. And to shadowy government approach its an assumption and answers the father really didn’t want to know about. He couldn’t comprehend that his daughter would be involved in the situation. And if that’s not enough the government sends in a team to clean up the mess, this does not make daddy happy at all. It doesn’t surprise the father that the government would probably get involved in some way, however he didn’t know they would try and pin all the wrongdoing on his daughter.
Wrapping it up: After finding out that the government was there to clean up the mess and that all of the fault was going to fall on his daughter the homicide detective and her father was not happy at all, and if you haven’t gone to see the movie you should its pretty good. That way you get to see the ending and find out the ending too.
