Reel Review: This is a move that came out in March. It was rated R and it is a crime drama movie. On the scale rating it received eight out of ten. In the course of one chaotic week the lives of three conflicted New York City police officers are dramatically transformed by their involvement in a massive drug operation.

What’s Inside: Burned out veteran is just one week away from pension and a fishing cabin in Connecticut. Narcotics officers have discovered there’s no line he won’t cross to provide a better life for his wife and his children. He has been undercover so long his priorities have started to shift. From his fellow police officers or a guy he knows in prison. One of Brooklyn’s drug dealers. With personal and work pressures bearing down on them, each man faces daily tests of judgment. Wrapping it up: When NYPD’s Operation Clean Up targets the notoriously drug ridden housing project, all three officers find themselves swept away by the violence and the corruption of the precinct, and its most treacherous criminals. Everything is in turmoil and confusion as the three offices walk into what is supposed to be a police department. And they find chaos instead. This movie captures the volatile and deadly world of New York’s most dangerous precincts through the eyes of the men and women pledged to protect and serve, as they face the wrenching choices that makes them Brooklyn’s finest.
