On the five star rating scale of latest an now playing movies When In Rome only received one star. Apparently the rated PG13 comedy just wasn’t funny enough or didn’t have much of a story line; whatever it was it got thumbs down by many people who went to the theaters to see it. Some people even thought Kristen Bell could have been even funnier, however she wasn’t.
What really got to people or should we say got their attention was that the New Yorker visiting Rome takes a few coins from a wishing fountain. There’s an idea, yeah for something not to do. Who would put that in a movie? Anyway, the guys that were handsome and actually attracted to her was a reporter of all people. She could have found that in New York!
There comes a time in her life when fame and luxury is something she can’t afford and years of waiting has made her desperate. It seems she goes around from fountain to fountain snatching coins to find her true love. The story line was ok but the plot of the movie just didn’t fit. She never even sees the reporter she knows he’s there but she looks right past him as if he’s not there. If that makes any sense. The movie didn’t make much sense really.
Meanwhile the reporter doesn’t give up but follows her wherever she goes, he’s the guy that really loves her and here she is trying to find mister right with coins she has taken out of fountains in Rome. And yet, some people did think the movie was alright however we won’t tell you how it ends, you can go to the theater for that but check back because we always do follow ups on the information .
