The release date for the Good Heart movie will be in April 2010. It is rated R. This is a drama movie and one of those films that will keep you captivated by wondering what is going to happen next.
The basics of the movie is the curmudgeonly owner of a gritty new York dive bar that serves as home to motley assortment of professional drinkers. Jacques is determinedly drinking and smoking himself to death when he meets Lucas, a homeless young man who has already given up on life. In the hopes of keeping his legacy alive Jacques deems Lucas is a fitting heir and takes him under his wing, schooling him in male –centric laws of his alcoholic clubhouse; no new customers, no fraternizing with customers and absolutely no women. Lucas is a quick study but their friendship is put to the test when the distraught and beautiful April shows up at the bar seeking shelter and Lucas insists that they help her out.
For the most part, this is a good movie to watch on one hand it shows the ruthlessness of a man, and the compassion of the other. And the two don’t view life in the same way. The young boy Lucas has compassion for others while the bar owner is only looking out for himself.
There is a trailer out for this movie and available for you to see a few scenes of what happens in the movie. Although it does not show the ending. This is one way of finding out if this is a movie you want to go to theaters to watch.
