The Straw Dogs movie is set to be released in September 2011. It is a crime, drama, thriller and is rated R. The new Straw Dogs follows Los Angeles screenwriter David Sumner who moves with his wife to her hometown in the deep South. Once there, tensions build in their marriage and old conflicts re-emerge with the local leading to a violent confrontation.
This is one of those movies that will keep you captivated as well as on the edge of your seats. Trying to find out why everyone is so violent stirs them up even more. Now that they are there they have no place to go either. To tough it out is their only option. However, they are not about to take any unforeseen problems they stay in a group and don’t do hardly anything alone. That’s what makes it a thriller I believe.
Apparently she wasn’t expected to come back however they did after she was married and that’s the only thing I can think of because the ex husband was one of the locals and stirred everyone up to go out and confront them.
There are a lot of scenarios to this movie some we think about and others where we just aren’t sure. If that’s the situation then the movie is going to be just phenomenal to say the lease.
