This is a movie based on different opinions and ideas. The release date is for November 2010. Although the rating for this movie isn’t available yet, it is a drama. The movie is a cosmic epic and a different look at life.
In the movie and eleven year old boy in the Midwest Jack, one of three brothers is the main character. At first all seems marvelous to the child. He sees as his mother does, with the eyes of his soul. She represents the way of love and mercy, where the father tries to teach his son the world’s way, of putting one’s self first. Each parent contends for his allegiance, and Jack must reconcile their claims the picture darkens as he has his first glimpses of sickness, suffering and death. The world, once a thing of glory becomes very dark to the boy.
Framing this movie around the adult Jack, a lost soul in the modern world, seeking to discover amid the changing scenes of time that which does not change the eternal scheme of which we are a part. When he sees all that has gone into our world’s preparation, each thing appears a miracle. Jack gains new understanding and is able to forgive his father and take his first steps on his own path of life.
This is a movie that ends with hope. And also the awareness of all the different beautiful things in life that bring us joy. In our everyday life things that we essentially take for granted and those times when we learn just a little more of the truth in who we really are.
