But it is a good documentation about Pat Tillman.
When Pat Tillman gave up his professional football career to join the army rangers in 2002, he became an almost instant symbol of the patriotic person America stands for. Doing the duties required of him without any faltering.
But the truth about him is really a lot more complicated in the sense that he was ultimately more heroic than people might think of him. And when the government tried to turn his death into nothing more than propaganda they chose the wrong family. They want people to know the truth about their son and just what he accomplished in his short lived life.
Pat’s mother took on the task of leading the family’s quest to reveal the truth behind the mysteries of their son’s life and death. The Tillman story is more than emotion and insight, and goes beyond an indictment of the government to touch on themes as timeless as the heroism Pat showed for his country.
There are things about him that were left unsaid and unspoken for what he did as a soldier and this documentary is dedicated to him. It is based on the true life story of who he was and what he wanted to do with his life.
There is a movie trailer for this documentary and it shows scenes from different portions of it. Much like video clips. However it does not show the ending of The Tillman Story documentary itself.
