The heist movie thriller the Takers has taken the number one spot at the weekend box office away from the frightening movie the Last Exorcism. The movie The Takers debuted with twenty million to grab the narrow win over the Last Exorcism, which opened in second place according to the final numbers on Monday.
The Last Exorcism had a very small lead over the Takers but the movies switched places once final weekend numbers were finally released. The takers was released by Screen Gems and stars Matt Dillon and an awesome cast of members. It was rated PG-13 and many movie goers thought it was a kick ass movie. It is an action type movie to say the least. The movie revolves around a notorious group of criminals who continuously baffle the police by pulling off perfect executed bank robberies. They are in and out of the banks so quickly it is like clockwork. They leave no evidence behind and they all lay low in between their infamous heists. But when they attempt to pull off one last job with more money at stake than they have ever stolen, the crew of criminals might find their plans will be interrupted by a detective who is hell bent on catching the bank robbing thieves.
There is a movie trailer for the Takers movie and you can view scenes from various portions of the movie. They are a lot like video clips. However, the movie trailer does not show the ending of the movie. You have to go to theaters for that.
