With the onset of Twitter the casting announcements can come from anywhere, including the stars themselves, which is why it was quite a breakthrough for actor John Cusack to make the official announcement on his twitter feed that he would be taking on the role of being Edgar Allan Poe in the thriller the Raven.
It was first learned about the project when we spoke and he told us that his movie wouldn’t be a straight part of Poe’s poem, as much as a serial killer thriller that famed the horror author would have to solve clues of a string of murders based on his stories.
The Raven is going to be a thriller movie that will essentially keep you mystified and on the edge of your seat in suspense wondering what is going to happen next. The movie is a true horror show for those movie goers who like to try and solve murder mysteries. This thriller starring John Cusack, also has other awesome cast members. It is a fictionalized story of a serial killer that is loose in the 1850’s. It takes place in Baltimore and it uses Poe’s stories as the methodology by leaving clues to each murder and Poe has to find him before he ultimately kills again.
The release date for this movie isn’t available yet, however when more details are released about this movie we will do what we can to update you with the details as they are released. There is also a movie trailer for the Raven movie that will be coming soon. You will be able to view scenes of the movie through video clips from different portions of the movie. However, the movie clip will not show the ending of the movie.
