This is a movie that is to be released in August of 2010. It is being released by Sony Pictures classics. The director is hoping it will go over well in the movie theaters. The Lebanon movie is rated R. This is a drama.
Based on the war in 1982 this movie shows where paratroopers and a tank platoon are supposed to search a hostile town. It was a simple mission that really turned into a nightmare. There are four members of the tank crew find that they are in a violent situation that they can’t control. The only thing that keeps the morale up and the men motivated is fear and the basic instinct of just surviving. They desperately try not to lose themselves to the violence of war.
The idea of war is not good for anyone and the trauma that goes with it, however when a mission goes bad, this simply makes it worse. This is a war movie that will have you captivated and on the edge of your seat wondering what is going to happen next. You will want to watch the movie from the beginning to the end. This is truly a movie that will let you know just what people who are fighting a war actually go through and how they endure in order to survive.
