The Kisses Movie is going to be released in July of 2010. It is being released by Oscilloscope Pictures. The rating for this movie isn’t released as of yet, however as it gets closer to the release date it will be available. This movie is a drama and the producers and director are hoping it goes over well at the theaters.
It is a story about two teenagers who are runaways living in the streets of Dublin and see both the beauty of the city as well as meeting up with the many dangers of living on the streets too. Kylie lives with 5 siblings, and a very tired and overworked mother. Next door to them is Dylan and his family. He has an abusive father so badly that his brother is considered a major runaway. The authorities aren’t even looking for him anymore. One day Kylie and Dylan do the same thing, it’s the only thing they know to do to have any type of normal life.
Together, they make a way to get to the city, and all of the lights. They are searching for Dylan’s brother at the same time. They both have the hope for a better life. And yet, they are both afraid in some ways. As it starts to get dark Kylie isn’t that afraid because she knew Dylan wouldn’t let anything bad happen to her. Dylan on the other hand cant sleep because he is taking on a darker character memories of his abusive father. He wonders what would happen if his father found them.
But unfortunately in reality his father wasn’t even looking for him. Just like his brother. Better to let them go if they don’t want to stay he heard his father tell his mother one time about his brother.
Kisses is the type of heart wrenching movie that makes you think about how blessed we really are. Hugs during the day and kisses at night.
