Although a release date for the Gilligan Island Movie hasn’t been released yet, it is sure to show some insight on the television series that ran for so long in the 60’s and the 70’s. The screenwriter and director are developing a feature film based on that television series.
The Gilligans Island Movie is sure to be hilarious and its genre is in fact a comedy. Although Bob Denver and the other television characters won’t be playing the parts it should still prove to be something else.
The original television series portrayed a group of unfortunate castaways stranded together on an island after a dreadful ship wreck. Just after a three hour tour. However, the original producer for that show is assisting the development of the movie too.
In the television series the group made several attempts to get off of the island and all of them failed. In this movie we are wondering if the group actually gets off the island it will be something to see. And, poor Gilligan whoever plays his part is always going to be picked on as being the slow one.
The Gilligan’s Island Movie is going to literally bring many people to the movie theater because it was a much loved television show and now as adults we watched it as children. Our children will enjoy it however they probably won’t know much about the television series unless you fill them in.
For the most part it will be fun to see and I am curious as to whether or not they will get off of the Island. I really hope they do. If you have comments or feedback about this movie we would love to hear from you.
