It is actually going to be the remake of Carol Reed’s 1948 classic The Fallen Idol. The new movie however is going to move the base of the story from London to present day India.
In essence, this is a movie that will have you on the edge of your seat and yet one of those movies that if you don’t watch it from the beginning to the end you won’t understand it either. Graham is in the French embassy and everyday deals with people. Only this time he deals with the young son whose worship of the hero of the embassy’s butler. This leads to a lot of trouble when the butler is suspected of murder. The movie Fallen Idol is almost like a live game of clue really. However the thrilling part is left out of the board game. And we don’t know how this movie ends.
