The movie the Crow is moving forward and the screenplay for a new Crow movie film is already finished and the production of this movie will begin this year. This new reboot movie of the Crow is going to be portrayed in a small town and a larger city. The action and special effects will move from the town to the city and then back again.
Although a star hasn’t been chosen yet, the casting and getting the members is really the easy part. The overall design, development, special effects and other works are going to be phenomenal in this movie. And even though nothing has been said the producer Edward Pressman has already asked a major actor to be the star in this upcoming movie.
The new movie will do what it can to reboot the franchise with a number of different alterations. One of these being the nature of the actual Crow itself. In essence, saying it is a creature in this movie and not simply just a bird. The crow will have a personality and a character. And yet, not like Godzilla exactly, but its very different and will have more action and adventure along with the drama it entails.
The original Crow was actually made purposely for the television however this one is going to be set to hit the big screen as soon as the movie comes together and the casting is done, the shooting is finished and The Crow movie is released. This is going to be a good one reassures Pressman. People will want to go to the theaters to see this one. They will be on the edge of their seat in suspense.
The actual date for the filming to begin hasn’t been set but for the producer the sooner the better. And the casting shouldn’t take long. If you have comments about The Crow movie feel free to comment here, or in one of our many different forums on this web site.

With out question im going to follow this the whole way, im a huge fan of the first Crow with Brandon Lee the others not so much. To me all the others lost that felling that the orignal had not to mention the soundtrack. I will say City of Angels did keep the respect to the orignal so im only hoping that Edward Pressman watchs the first Crow, reads the comic”s and keeps an eye on what made such a great film the best of all. Im my opion it was the lack of color even though it was filed and shown in color that helped make it so great other than Brandon Lee”s master perormance R.I.P.
Im glad I cought this and hope to hear more, time to spread the word and re-bulid the fan base.
I really hope this can live up to the first Crow movie with the dynamic Brandon Lee in the lead role as Eric Draven (R.I.P).
The following sequels were all garbage & I did not even bother looking out the final one as it was that bad.
I am really looking forward to seeing this as I am a fan of the comic & think that they will hopefully do O”Barr proud as he must have loathed what the sequels made of his master piece.
I like the idea of making the Crow a character on it”s own that really only occupies the host as was hinted in the tv series.
Well….i agree witht he above 2 comments, the first movie was fantastic and the next didnt match up, the following 2 (yes two including ron zombies attempt, didnt match up….) and th eseries was a piece of the proverbial…..so….if they intend to redo the original, bring back the skull cowboy and make it darker, then im all for it, and ADDTITION to the crow stories, but not a makeover in the usual fashioN (looking at the mess that happened to the punisher, a team etc…)
