This is a comedy romance where a woman has been waiting for the right guy to come along however her biological clock is ticking and she wants a child. So desperate enough she tries to go it alone. In the meantime, she meets a guy that she really likes and they hit it off but she doesn’t know how to tell him she might be pregnant and how.
Eventually trying to build a good relationship with this guy she is also trying to hide the early signs of pregnancy too. It soon becomes a comedy that everyone will be laughing at. Before long she is going to have to tell the guy but she is worried about what he will say or much worse what he will do. When she finally does tell him he doesn’t go anywhere but they both know that when you fall in love, get married and have a baby is the way it is supposed to go and yet they are doing it somewhat backwards. Baby, love, and marriage? Its not an easy thing to think about as the days of the nine months click away. After Zoe tells him he’s all for it until it gets closer to time and they both start to get cold feet.
The ending of The Back-up Plan movie is something else you have to remember it is a comedy but it is a romance as well. So you’ll just have to go to the theaters and see for yourself how it ends. The couple just hopes they were made for each other and this is the right thing that they are doing.
