Recently the news was revealed that Taylor Lautner has signed on for the film version of the fantasy young adult novel Incarceron. It is set for development at fox 2000 and the reports have been confirmed.
The project, first announced back in March is based on the novel of the same name and it was published earlier this year. It tells the story of a 17 year old boy who has lived his whole life in a self sustaining prison where one generation of inmates gives birth to the next generation of inmates. Following the legend of the only mystery no one ever escaped incarceration. Sapphique, Finn teams with the warden’s daughter they do everything possible to escape. It is to help mount the utmost escape ever possible in this mystical land. Planned as a series of novels the film adaptation will arrive with a script from Bill Collage and Adam Cooper. This is a movie that will essentially have you on the edge of your seat. You will be in suspense wondering what is going to happen next. Will the inmates make it to their daring escape or with the warden’s daughter’s help accidentally get caught.
