Although the newly released movie was a hit at box offices and in theaters there are those people who thought that the movie was somewhat sad. Like the plot was of sorrow more of being someday once again reunited with a loved one.
For some the romantic drama was way too sappy and then there were those people who had a completely different opinion about the movie. It was these people who said that you had to get to that softer side of yourself to really understand the movie.
So who is right about the movie? Actually that was the intention of the screenwriter I am sure was to affect many different individuals in individually different ways. To some the movie was dreary and in some parts of the movie love seemed just out of reach and would never happen.
But there were those people who loved the movie and can’t wait for it to come out on DVD. If there were going to be a sequel to this one it would be difficult to fathom for the sadness in this movie. Although Dear John wasn’t meant to totally be a sad movie for the most part.
In essence, really it essentially depends on the person who is going to the theater and watching the movie and the response he or she had to watching it. Could it be that the sensitive side of people in society today is much harder to let show through than the hard exterior everyone tries to put on so why blame a movie?
