More Than 30,000 People Anticipate Waiting For Superman

Participant media and Walden Media have announced that over thirty thousand people have made a pledge to see the documentary film Waiting On Superman. When it opens in the fall, making it the first goal reached in the Pledge Progress Meter. This is a new concept for the companies and it is going over well. For each one that pledges to see the movie before September 15th, will receive a five dollar gift card.

The gift cards can then be used for the requests from public school teachers and the supplies needed for each classroom in all areas of the United States. The mission is to improve public education and assist teachers in getting those things required through the citizen who has the gift card.

Also, thanks to several different generous supporters they are thrilled that people take the pledge to see Waiting on Superman and redeeming the code to help students get the resources they essentially need for their need to learn. Waiting For Superman is a documentary directed by Davis Guggenheim and it will be released by Paramount Pictures. It is designed to start a national conversation, the move and the Take the Pledge campaign which will inspire many people to watch it. The film opens in September and it follows a group of kids and encourages academic growth. A complete review of public education and what it entails in today’s society. Growing as it does and more children being in the public educational system. This is one of the most highly considered times for children and education. The drop out rate is down and the children and young adults attending school has tripled in the past few years. If you have comments about the public educational system or about this post, we would be glad to hear from you. You can post your comments here or in our many movies forum.
