Leonardo DiCaprio is attached to star and will produce a big screen adaptation of Erik Larson’s movel the Devil in the White City. He will produce with his Appian Way partner Jennifer Killoran and Double feature principals Michael and Stacey.

DiCaprio will play the serial killer in the film. A guy who is intelligent and that charismatic is nothing less than complex, and it is that complexity that Leonardo DiCaprio is drawn to. This was a statement given by Killoran about DiCaprio’s decision to play the evil role. And because people don’t know much about him, it makes him even more interesting. They are now looking for a writer or writer and director before setting up the project at a studio. Leonardo doesn’t usually play the part of the bad guy however he is no stranger to the big screen and has several films already under his belt. He does the part of whoever he is playing with enthusiasm.
